2. Appointment of Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, AOS designates a Grievance Officer for receiving and addressing lawful complaints, notices and user grievances relating to platform usage.
The Grievance Officer shall make reasonable efforts to review and process complaints relating to unlawful content, policy violations, impersonation, misuse or other intermediary compliance concerns.

4. Intermediary Platform Notice
AOS functions solely as an intermediary platform and does not independently create, publish or guarantee all user-generated profile content.
Users are individually responsible for the information, communications and content uploaded through the platform.
AOS claims intermediary protection under applicable Indian laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related intermediary rules.
5. Complaint Submission Guidelines
Users submitting grievances should provide:
- Full name and contact details
- Relevant profile ID or URL
- Detailed description of the complaint
- Supporting evidence where applicable
- Declaration of truthful reporting
False, malicious or abusive complaints may be rejected and may attract legal consequences where applicable.
6. Content Review & Action
Upon receiving lawful complaints, AOS may:
- Review reported content
- Seek clarification or verification
- Restrict or remove objectionable content
- Suspend or terminate violating accounts
- Comply with lawful government or court directions
- Preserve records where legally required
AOS reserves the right to take appropriate intermediary compliance measures based on the nature of the complaint and applicable Indian law.
7. Response Time & Processing
AOS shall make reasonable efforts to acknowledge and process lawful grievances within commercially reasonable timelines.
Complex investigations, legal verification requirements or technical matters may require additional review time.
8. Limitation of Intermediary Liability
AOS shall not be responsible for:
- User-generated misinformation
- Private disputes between users
- Independent matrimonial decisions
- Third-party communications
- External platform behaviour
- Content not under direct operational control
Users should independently verify all matrimonial information before making personal or legal decisions.
